A new computer worm named Conficker, Kido or Downadup is spreading around the world. Once in the computer, it worms it’s way through the operating system and tricks the machine into running the infected program.

Once established, it starts to download further malware. This threat is causing concern as antivirus companies race to get on top of it. In the meantime, the advice is to make sure antivirus and firewall measures are fully up to date.
