Video Of Milk Hill Crop Circle 2nd June 2009

I had driven past the field by Milk Hill in the Pewsey Vale Wiltshire twice on the 2nd June and had noticed nothing. Later in the day I heard a rumour that there was a new crop formation near the White horse at Alton Barnes which is adjacent to Milk Hill. When I arrived at the location it turned out that the crop circle was hidden just over the brow of a slight hill in the field of barley. This is so often the case with this phenomenon; it comes down just out of sight from a busy road. As I entered the field at sundown the sky took on a spectacular appearance so typical of sky displays in the Pewsey Vale. The air was tingling with magic which was so familliar no doubt to the ancient people who inhabited this land. I had my humble Canon Powershot camera to hand so I took some video shots to capture this magnificent scene for the benefit of those who can’t visit.milkhillsm Click on the image to view the video of the ground lay in the crop formation and the beautiful Wiltshire evening sky. The video will open in a new window.

The first thing I was impressed by was the fact that so much of the barley was still standing; it was as if the crop which was laid down had been brushed softly brushed down by a gentle force. The geometrical work was stunning with so much detail to the shapes applied with gentle twists and turns in the lay.The overall shape is an heptagon with a smaller inner heptagon in the centre. The two are joined by swathes of blade like patterns. Click here to see aerial photos of the Milk Hill crop formation.

As I usually do, I sat down to meditate for a short while, during which I saw a deep blue flash in the sky ove the field. The air felt charged with energy and a feeling of expectation. A friend of mine, Rob, who turned up agreed with me about the feelings and I could tell how his demeanour and mood changed after a short while in the crop formation.

I took some photos of the evening in the field which I will post as soon as I can. There never seems to be enough time these days to get everything done! Call back soon.

Ammendment: Note I have changed my mistake in saying the shape was hexagonal! It is actually heptagonal. I guess we’ve been so used to hexagonal shapes in the past! My apologies.
