P.s. also met Paul Vigay when I visited Wiltshire in 2004 and found him an easygoing humble ,genius.
He was the first one to befirend Jonathan (Dr Jon) as other researchers in the region treated him as an outsider at that stage.
I heard through Rachel Sherwood,a good friend of mine, and who ispresently finishing the new Crop Circle Video Jon was doing with Paul ,that David kingston was afriend and ally too.
so you are right Andy,a great loss, but not forgotten these ones...

Hi,
I'm from Australia.
I knew Dr Sherwood (Jonathan as we affectionatley knew him ,for 22 years) ,in time you will find out what a mighty force he was in this world.
A spiritual healer beyond belief we who knew him are starting reveal some of the extraordinary things he did in Australia,New zealand the Unted states,Egypt,UK etc, etc, etc.
It was no chance the Hopi Indians nominated him "the Keeper of the Bear medicine" -the HIGHEST healing office of their clan.Out of all of the native American peoples the Hopis are regarded as the mightiest prophets.
So how was it a guy born in Portsmouth ,UK came to carry bear the responsibility of guardian of the Bear medicine ?
The sign to the Hopis that Dr Jonathan Sherwood was a bearer of a profound spiritual ability to heal came after he did a healing technique on reverred native American Wallace Black Elk (whom I believ was of Lakota people). He was in a 'bad way' and Dr Sherwood did wonders to prolong his health and life.
The clincher though was a Sweat Lodge ceremony in Angel Fire,New Mexico part of a Power Place Tours event.Jonathan was invited as a guest speake and participated in the Sweat Lodge ceremony. After which he was instructed to climb to the top of the mountain and whatever creature he saw first would be his 'totem' .
When a huge Grizzly bear followed Dr Jon down the mountainside.Eyebrows were raised by the various elders there.
The keeper of the 'Bear Medicine' for the Hopis famed elder, teacher and author 'Sunbear' had recently passed away. Thus not only was this significant that the mighty Grizzly bear was acknowledged as Dr jon's totem but the power of the bear was endowed to him .
when he reached the township followed al the way down by the bear he later walked into a jewellry store and found a piece of bone a fastener for his shirt collar with a grizzly motiff painted on it.
"How much for this?"said Dr Jon
"Never seen it before" said the store-keeper.
when all of the elders saw the toggle around his neck fastened with leather strap they exclaimed and immediately ,"Where did you get this!!!"
and proceeded to bless it.
Little did they know what we his students knew.
Thanks for your tribute here,

Simon
We i australia had seen him heal brain injured children back to normal, help the poor- sighted see and in one instance raise a person who had physically ceased to be.I have never spoken of the latter,as it would raise profound questions.
In Hopi tradition the strength of Bear medicine is the power of introspection. Bear is not one to make snap decisions, nor one to ramrod or force into any position. Bear takes in all available information, takes it into his quiet place, studies that information carefully, gives it careful thought for a while, and then reaches his own informed decisions based on the facts at hand. Bear is the one who says, "I have to think about this. I'll be in touch later." You can rely on opinions coming from a Bear person as being well thought out and thorough, and based on the facts given. To accomplish the goals and dreams that we carry, the art of introspection is necessary.
