Woodborough Hill is a favorite location of mine and last year on August 10th it featured what was called the Owl crop formation (Left). I visited it at the time with friends and took some photos. Yesterday, April 28th, I revisited the location to take a look at the residual pattern which has developed in the in the flowering rape.

Below is a gallery of photos I took. You’ll see in a couple of them there are some light orbs. When I entered the pattern in the rape, the first picture I took had a lovely orb in it. I Make no suggestions as to what causes these and leave it up to you.

Accounts include that of Dr Karen Ralls, Medieval Historian/ Musicologist at Oxford who has been asked to write up the works of the late Anne Macaulay who held the Chair of Music at Edinburgh University. She had been directed to Lucy’s web site to look at the Windmill Hill `Harp`. “Seven “. She adds her very interesting historical angle to this particular formation.

A fascinating account was sent to Lucy by Norwegian Eva Haagensen which once again describes a loss of time when going to crop circles. I am sure that many can relate to this! At this point I would like to add that Lucy is very open to hearing of anyone’s personal experiences to do with the crop circle phenomenon. Each year Lucy and her team conduct scientific tests that include as many different aspects of scientific research as possible. As a final note in this post I would like to share in Lucy Pringle’s acknowledgements to the beloved friends we have seen depart this world over the last year. All of us involved in crop circles have been moved to the core by the departure of so many familiar companions in so short a time. Indeed for many of us this has expanded outside of crop circle friends to include departure of relatives and other beloved ones. My own personal world underwent, what I would describe as, nothing less than a complete fracturing process over the last year but I see magic arising from it. To many of us it is obvious we have reached a very important watershed in our time here on earth, and as Eckhart Tolle says, let us strive to be fully present in the now, allowing the portal to the divine to open and remind us who we truly are. We are undergoing a massive shift together and a new consciousness is in the process of manifesting. An old Indian lady, a meditation teacher of mine, said similar – “despite outward appearances you have a very bright future”. If you could have looked into her eyes, seeing her smile as I did, you too would know this to be true. Let us participate in a magical crop circle season in 2010, with love and gratitude in our hearts, in honour of old friends, and strive to realize the loving destiny we have all dreamed of! Let us do it together.

I wanted to do this quick post to present a piece of remarkable evidence I found in the Mayan crop formation at Silbury Hill. I discovered a patch of fanned wheat which was layed down coming around the edge of a standing section of crop.

I was amazed to find that each and every stem was bent at each node to produce the curved fan effect. I have seen the bent node effect before in upright crop, most recently at Milk Hill in the small formation as you enter the field below the white horse. In these previous examples, the effect is often dismissed by skeptics as being due to phototropism, ie when a plant which has been flattened regrows towards sunlight.

The bent nodes in the Silbury Hill crop formation cannot be dismissed in this way as the plants are horizontal and flat to the ground. Click here to enlarge image showing the fan effect in the Silbury Hill Mayan crop formation.

Some say the formation depicted the precise orbital positions of the planets in our solar system for December 23rd 2012.

The farmer was so annoyed that he cut strips through the formation to in an attempt to deter visitors.

As can be seen from these three formations alone, the crop circles have astounded us appearing with such complexity so early into the 2009 crop circle season. The light orbs have also been making  appearances – I have already met people who claim to have photographed them this year. The interesting thing is that descriptions of the light orbs are pretty similar among those I talk to. More coming soon but for now my zzzzs are calling!

The first thing I was impressed by was the fact that so much of the barley was still standing; it was as if the crop which was laid down had been brushed softly brushed down by a gentle force. The geometrical work was stunning with so much detail to the shapes applied with gentle twists and turns in the lay.The overall shape is an heptagon with a smaller inner heptagon in the centre. As I usually do, I sat down to meditate for a short while, during which I saw a deep blue flash in the sky ove the field. The air felt charged with energy and a feeling of expectation. A friend of mine, Rob, who turned up agreed with me about the feelings and I could tell how his demeanour and mood changed after a short while in the crop formation.

I took some photos of the evening in the field which I will post as soon as I can. There never seems to be enough time these days to get everything done! Call back soon.

Ammendment: Note I have changed my mistake in saying the shape was hexagonal! It is actually heptagonal. I guess we’ve been so used to hexagonal shapes in the past! My apologies.

Roundway Hill, Devizes - 10th May 2009

I have been talking to many crop circle enthusiasts in recent days and the buzz and ecitement is running high. Never before have we seen so many formations and such complexity so early in the year. One investigator told me that he beleives that the 2009 will provide proof of otherworldly involvement in the phenomenon. “If they are like this now, we can only wonder at what will be appearing by August”.

I returned to the formation at around 10:10 am and took some ground pictures and some video shots with my Canon powershot A560. These can be viewed here. I uploaded the wrong video so it’s a bit long winded but will give an idea of how the formation appears on the ground. I hope it’s helpful to those who cannot visit the site. I’ll try to improve my filming skills in due course! There were many broken stems and scuff marks on the crop and it appeared rather untidy compared to other formations.

As is always the case with me, I am interested in the synchronicities, odd events and bigger picture surrounding crop circles, no matter what their origin is. I had something peculiar happen when I entered the All cannings formation – two sets of brand new batteries packed up in my camera.

All the crop circle researchers are amazed at how many formations have appeared so early in the year. There’s great excitement about what’s to come!
