As we exit another winter and look forward to the 2009 crop circle season many of us are reflecting on the losses to the research community with the passing of Paul Vigay, Dr Jonathan Sherwood and David Kingston. As was the case for many people, for me it has been a particularly difficult winter with, among other things, the passing of my uncle and close friends as well. One could say that the last few months have put me through the ‘refiner’s fire’ spoken of in scriptural texts. I could well imagine how a soldier in the trenches must have felt having colleagues fall one by one by his side. In my inner knowing, I see that actually we haven’t lost our loved ones; they have gone to join our army of helpers who are assisting us who remain on the Earth plane. I’ve had some very personal experiences which indicate to me that this is true. This winter, more than any previous ones, seems to have forced us to look harder within ourselves to find what is really important in life. The subtle secret to this lies in being in a state of inner surrender in the present moment.

My heart goes out to all relatives and friends of those fine Souls who have passed over, and indeed, to all of you out there. We share in a common journey, no matter who it is reading this; a journey in which we are ALL making the graduation from unconsciousness to consciousness, from mortality to immortality.

Now it is more important than ever to extend the hand of love and friendship to all those we meet. Crop circles to me are a wonderful symbol of this great process as brothers and sisters from all over the world come to this humble area every year. There was a wonderful slogan in a Jamesons’s ad a few years ago which said “There’s no such thing as strangers; just friends you haven’t met yet”. When a meeting takes place in a crop circle it is as if there is a shield of protection from all the wasteful, low vibratory thought waves which seem to come between people in the world. There are sparks of recognition between souls, a recognition that we are indeed, all one family. I’ve heard it said that if you could put all the world’s leaders in a crop cirle to conduct a summit, then wars would be a thing of the past.

The way to approach crop circles is to be in a state of inner surrender in each ‘now’ and just see what a magical adventure unfolds for you; you will find yourself in places you didn’t expect be in, you will have meaningful synchronicities and you will have interactions with others that will amaze you. We are a part of something much bigger than our minds can imagine!

As we go into this crop circle season of 2009, a year which I feel will prove to be quite momentous; I extend my heartfelt love to you all. This, I believe, is what it is all about.
